When

Lecture meetings are normally held on the morning of the second Thursday of each month, except July and August. Lectures begin at 10.30 and last about an hour, plus questions. 

Where

Lectures are held at the Welcome Church, 1-5 Church Street West, Woking, GU21 6DJ. See map below.

This is a modern venue with all the latest technical facilities, blackout, comfortable seating, big screens, toilets and a lift and wheelchair access.
From September 2025 we are trialling a coffee counter in the church. Coffee/tea will be available from 10am for £1 including a biscuit! Parking is in the Peacocks (Red carpark, a 5 minute walk). Disabled parking is on the roads with a Blue Badge.

Special Interest Days are held at Gordon's School in West End. This venue is wheel chair friendly.

A note on Zoom

It is possible that some lectures may be available via Zoom, depending on the preference of individual lecturers.

• To access the Zoom lecture meeting you need to do the following:
• Download the Zoom app for your PC, Tablet or smart Phone
• Click on the meeting link, that we will send you by email a day or so before the lecture. Follow instructions for joining the video meeting
• You will enter a virtual ‘waiting room’
• Wait for the Host to admit you to the meeting
• Make sure your microphone is muted for the duration of the lecture
• At the time you will be given information how to table a question to the lecturer.
• After the lecture please visit this website to register your vote on its quality.
